Mitch Summers
Husband, Father, Master Craftsman
Most people thought I was crazy to focus only on decks. Big companies push volume, sticking to templated designs to keep things efficient. But I’ve never been interested in rushing projects — I want every deck to be built with precision, craftsmanship, and creativity.
I earned my accounting degree from Millersville in 2010, but after a few career attempts, I knew my real passion was in building. In 2015, I started small—working for friends and family, relying on word of mouth and Facebook for work. One deck turned into two, then three, and in 2020, I made the decision to go all-in. I stepped away from general carpentry to focus exclusively on building custom decks, dedicating my focus to spaces where people can unwind and enjoy some of life’s best moments.
Today, I run a team that’s just as committed to this calling as I am. We don’t cut corners. We don’t do “good enough.” Every deck we build is designed to last, built with integrity, and created with the same attention to detail we’d want for our own homes.

- You want a cheaper, standardized option. Larger operations often work with high-volume suppliers, which can mean cost savings—especially if you’re fine with limited design options.

Note: We are certainly capable of completing more standardized builds and emphasize quality and durability to the same standards as even our largest custom projects.
